At Little Hope Trust, we see that possibility every day: in a child opening a book, completing a project, attending an evening class, or taking the next step towards higher education. When children are given the opportunity to learn, they are given the opportunity to shape their future.

At Little Hope Trust, we believe education is an investment for life. It gives children the opportunity to dream, learn, grow, and build a better future. For many of the children we serve, education is more than academics. It is a pathway towards greater opportunity, confidence, independence, and a brighter tomorrow.

Every Child Deserves the Chance to Learn

We are happy to share that our evening education centres continue to function regularly, with children enthusiastically attending both their schools and evening tuition sessions. These centres provide children with a supportive environment where they can continue learning, ask questions, strengthen their understanding, and receive encouragement in their educational journey.

From School to the Next Chapter

One of the most encouraging developments has been seeing our students continue into higher education. Many of our students have successfully secured admission to Intermediate, Degree, Polytechnic, ITI, and other professional courses and have begun the next stage of their academic journeys. Each step forward represents perseverance, encouragement, and the opportunity for a young person to imagine a different future. We are proud of their determination and grateful to everyone who continues to encourage them.

Every admission is more than a milestone. It is another dream moving forward.

Learning Beyond Textbooks

Education becomes even more meaningful when children have opportunities to explore, create, and express themselves. Alongside their regular studies, children participate in creative and practical learning activities that encourage curiosity, imagination, and confidence. From drawings and handmade projects to reading and creative exercises, these activities allow children to discover that learning can happen in many different ways.

Small Celebrations, Meaningful Moments

Education is important, but childhood should also contain moments of happiness and belonging. During the past month, we celebrated the birthdays of three students, bringing joy and encouragement to the children. We were also grateful to receive food donations from generous well-wishers. Such gestures remind children that there is a community that sees them, values them, and cares about their well-being. Sometimes, a seemingly small act of kindness can create a memory that lasts much longer.

Sharing What We Have

During the month, we also conducted a used-clothes collection and distribution drive, helping several families meet some of their basic needs. These initiatives remind us that making a difference does not always require something extraordinary. Something that is no longer needed in one home may become genuinely useful to another family. When communities choose to share what they have, even simple contributions can make a meaningful difference.

Helping Children Come Prepared

While we are grateful for the progress being made, there are still needs to be met. Some students are yet to receive complete school uniforms and educational supplies. As the academic year progresses, these essentials remain important in helping children attend school prepared, comfortable, and with confidence.

Those who would like to support the children can contribute through educational materials, school essentials, volunteering, or other forms of assistance to Little Hope Trust. Every contribution, however small, can become part of a child's journey.

A Positive Recovery Update

We would also like to share an encouraging update about Haribabu. The past two months have been extremely challenging for him and his family. By God's grace, and with the prayers, concern, and support of many well-wishers, his surgery was successful and he is recovering well.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who stood with him and his family during this difficult period. Two other children who previously underwent major surgeries are also recovering steadily. They still require minor follow-up surgical procedures and continued medical support. We request your continued prayers and support as they move towards complete recovery.

Creativity That Reached Beyond the Classroom

Little Hope Trust's educational initiatives have also received media attention.

Metro Udayam featured the Trust's Storybooks Summer Camps and Children's Creative Exhibitions, highlighting activities designed to encourage children through reading, creativity, educational activities, workshops, storytelling, and opportunities for self-expression.
